Founded in 1971 by Joanne Winter, LPGA, the Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle Championship was to encourage competition in golf for young women amateur golfers under the age of 24. Today, it is nationally recognized and included in the ranking of amateur players by World Amateur Golf, Golfweek, Golf Stat, Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA. This tournament qualifies for AJGA Performance Based Entry.
EligibilityEntrants must be younger than 24 years old as of December 28. All applicants 14 years and younger will be reviewed as one group and will compete for the Overall Champion title as well as within the '14 and Under' age division.
ApplicationsAll entries must be submitted online. No applications accepted by phone, fax or mail. Check "Schedule of Events" page under "Tournament Info" for opening date.
Selection of CompetitorsField limited to 90 players. In the case of more applicants than available space, the Board of Directors will base selections upon application information and national ranking. Confirmation of your status will be emailed within two weeks of the closing date.
Entry Fee ($275) and RefundsAfter selections are made, all accepted players' credit card entered during registration will be charged. This includes green fees for the practice round, tournament green fees, use of the practice facility and a small welcome gift. Our refund policy is stated on the tournament portal. A minimum $25.00 service fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Medical Release FormYour entry assumes agreement with our Medical Release form.
Hotel AccommodationsA link to the Host Hotel will be provided to the players in their acceptance email.
AwardsThe Champion will be determined from the entire field. In the event of a tie for the title of Champion, the winner will be determined by a hole by hole playoff. All other ties will be determined according to USGA guidelines. Awards will also be presented within each age division (14 and under, 15-16, 17-18 and 19-23). If a player is not present at the awards ceremony, she may be responsible to pay for shipment of her trophy. The Day 1 over-the-field medalist will also be awarded.

Player Code of ConductContestants are expected to adhere to our Player Code of Conduct.
Caddies / TransportationNO CADDIES WILL BE PERMITTED. Golfers must walk. Pull carts may be used but must be provided by the individual golfer. The course has none available for rent.
SpectatorsSpectators MUST follow in the rough and shall not distract players. Only spectators with valid ADA credentials will be allowed to rent a motorized cart from the course during play.
